This unique camera has one colour sensor with megapixel resolution (1280 x 960 pixels) and a digital zoom. The camera delivers images at a frame rate of 30 VGA images (640 x 480 pixels) per second. Mobotix cameras may be controlled by either Mobotix management software, NetCamWatch and Milestone available from IViewCameras.

The M22M cameras generate and store up to 30 live images per second in VGA format (640 x 480 pixels). The camera also includes such features as bi directional audio using SIP protocol sophisticated alarm management with pre- and post-alarms, alarm alerts via telephone call, event-controlled recording. The camera can be mounted externally without an additional housing and operates between -30 °C to +60 °C (-22 to +140 °F).
