The Axis 241Q four camera video server is a compact high performance device that enables any new or existing analogue camera to convert to TCPIP protocol so that it can be viewed anywhere on network infrastructure in exactly the same way as a pure IP camera. Housed internally, the unit can be used for both internal and external cameras. The Axis 241Q is a highly competitively priced network server ideal for any home or business that needs an affordable remote monitoring solution! The server is ideal applications where groups of legacy analogue cameras need to be connected to the network or where the cost of cabling new analogue cameras using RG 59 cable is prohibitive. Where the existing IP infrastructure can be used the Axis 241QA is a simple way of transmitting real time video and audio from all four cameras onto a network enabling viewers to see activity anywhere. Axis Video Servers are IP addressable and easily connect directly to 10/100 Mbps Ethernet networks, delivering high quality motion JPEG images at up to 25 frames per second over a LAN, WAN or internet. Coupled with external alarm capabilities, the video servers react instantly to alarm driven activations. Any computer on the network can view live images from many other Axis servers using an standard web browser.
