Panasonic WV-NS202 Super Dyanamic III Network Colour Dome Camera with PoE

Pixel Based 128x Dynamic Range (Super Dynamic III)

The WV-NS202 features Super Dynamic III technology that enables it to deal with any subject no matter what lighting difficulties are present. Super Dynamic III performs gradation compensation of contrast on the pixel base, ensuring faithful reproduction of subjects in any area and position. Furthermore, it achieves the 128x dynamic range by using images taken at 1/60-second and 1/8,000-second shutter speeds.

22X Zoom Lens capturing remote objects smoothly

In order for the WV-NS202 to capture remote subjects smoothly, a 22x optical zoom lens with a focal distance of 3.79-83.4mm (standard equipment) is combined with the 10x electronic zooming function. This makes zooming up to 220x possible, enabling high power surveillance and the clear capture of subjects at long distances. Compared to interfaced output, images of moving people and passing cars become smooth and easy to see as the WV-NS202 encompasses progressive output for the smooth reproduction of moving subjects.

Powerful in low lighting condition (min. illumination of 0.7 lux)

The WV-NS202 features a minimum illumination of 0.7 lux (0.07fc). This makes colour image surveillance possible even when it becomes dark. The use of electronic sensitivity increases functionality up to 32x, enabling higher quality nocturnal surveillance than ever before.

Power over Ethernet for easy installation

For easy installation and IP configuration, the camera employs Power over Ethernet ( PoE) IEEE802.3af, which supplies power and transmits images through a single cable. No separate power supply is required and all one has to do is connect the cable to the PoE switch or the PoE adapter for it to work. Also, the one-touch fitting mechanism means that to install the component to the desired location, just simply align the recessed part of the main unit to the protruding part of the attached mounting bracket and rotate the main unit clockwise, ensuring the fit.

Various setting

Various setting can be adjusted when monitoring the cameras image such as white balance, intensified sensitivity and shutter speeds. This ensures the images received are of the highest quality and can be reordered and monitored with full confidence.

MPEG-4 and JPEG dual streaming

MPEG-4 and JPEG images can be output simultaneously, enabling high video reproduction MPEG-4 monitoring and high resolution JPEG recording can operate at the same time. Full-rate output transmission of up to 30 ips is possible with class=GramE>either image output and MPEG-4 or JPEG can be selected according to purpose, ensuring highly efficient operations.

2 Way audio feature

The WV-NS202 also makes voice exchange also possible with its 2 way audio feature. Sound collection is possible by connecting a microphone for checking the peripheral status of the camera through voice and images. Furthermore, the provision of audio output enables voice public-addressing from a PC by connecting an amplifier-integrated loudspeaker and the built-in SD memory card slot makes it possible to back up surveillance recordings in the event of any network difficulties.

High reliability industrial grade mechanism for demanding surveillance

The WV-NS202 PTZ camera ensures stable operation is constant over a long period of time, thanks to an original mechanism developed with Panasonic's award winning know-how providing a robust unit for unrivalled reliability. The camera rotates 350 degrees horizontally at a rotation speed of 300 degrees per second. This enables the quick capturing of any subject regardless of its movement speed. Rotation of the WV-NS202 is also quick vertically, moving at up to 100 degrees per second ensuring that every angle can be monitored quickly and easily.

Up to 64 positions can be registered in advance and the auto tracking function ensures panning and tilting are automatically executed keeping a moving subject centred on the screen. Other features of the WV-NS202 include privacy zone masking, to protect the privacy of people when windows of homes etc are within the surveillance area; versatile alarm functions, to deal with alarms including external alarms from external sensors, VMD camera alarms etc; 360 degree map-shot function, for still images of eight locations in a 360 degree arc to be displayed as thumbnails enabling users to click on the image for the camera to be directed to that position and display a live image of the chosen location; and alarm notification to four set email addresses, should any suspicious activity be detected.
